Arrival by Plane

From BER (Berlin Brandendenburg Willy Brandt)

Please note:
Tickets can be purchased at the Berliner Verkehrsbetriebe (BVG) counter in the terminal or at the automat on the S-Bahn platform. A ticket (single ticket area ABC) costs 3.80 € and is valid for train, S-Bahn and bus. The ticket must be validated at a machine on the platform before the start of the journey!

You need about 70 minutes for the entire route.


Option 1:

From BER airport train station Terminal 1 + 2 (please follow the signs)

- S-Bahn S9 (towards Spandau) to Westkreuz
- Change to S-Bahn S42 to Halensee
- Change to busM19 (direction S-Grunewald). The bus stop is across the street!
- Get off the bus at Erdener Straße

From there, walk back approx. 100 m (i.e. opposite to the direction of travel) to Wallotstraße.

The S-Bahn from the airport runs every 20 minutes.

 

Option 2:

From BER airport train station Terminal 1 + 2 (please follow the signs)

- Train RE 7 (direction Berlin HBF) to Südkreuz
- Change to S-Bahn S41 (Ringbahn) to Halensee
- Change to bus M19 (direction S-Grunewald). The bus stop is across the street!
- Get off the bus at Erdener Straße

From there, walk back approx. 100 m (i.e. opposite to the direction of travel) to Wallotstraße.

The RE 7 train runs every 60 minutes.

 

Option 3:

From BER airport train station Terminal 1 + 2 (please follow the signs in the terminal)

- Train RB 14 or FEX (direction Berlin HBF) to Ostkreuz
- Change to S-Bahn S41 (Ringbahn) to Halensee
- Change to bus M19 (direction S-Grunewald). The bus stop is across the street!
- Get off the bus at Erdener Straße.

From there, walk back approx. 100 m (i.e. opposite to the direction of travel) to Wallotstrasse.

The RB 14 train runs once an hour, the FEX twice

 

 A taxi from airport BER costs about 60 euros and takes about 30 minutes.

Arrival by Train

From Berlin Hauptbahnhof (main station)

Take S-Bahn S7 from Platform 16 in the direction Potsdam Hbf. Get off at S-Bahn Grunewald station and continue with bus M19 in the direction U-Bhf. Mehringdamm. Get off at the station Erdener Straße. Across the road in the direction of travel, you will find Wallotstraße. A ticket valid for the whole trip (AB single-trip for 2.90 euros) can be purchased from the vending machines of the Berliner Verkehrsbetriebe (BVG) on Platform 16 at Hauptbahnhof (main station). Stamp the ticket in one of the machines on the platform before beginning your trip. The S-Bahns and buses leave every 10 minutes. You will need about 30 minutes for the entire trip.

A taxi from the Hauptbahnhof costs about 30 euros and takes about 20 minutes.

From Bahnhof Südkreuz

Take S-Bahn 41 to S-Bahnhof Halensee. There, on the opposite side of the street, take bus M41 in the direction S-Bahnhof Grunewald or Hagenplatz. Get off at the station Erdener Straße. To find Wallotstraße, please walk back about 100 m. A ticket valid for the whole trip (AB single-trip for 2.90 euros) can be purchased from the vending machines of the Berliner Verkehrsbetriebe (BVG) on the train platform. Stamp the ticket in one of the machines on the platform before beginning your trip. The S-Bahns and buses leave every 10 minutes. You will need about 22 minutes for the entire trip.

A taxi from Bahnhof Südkreuz costs about 25 euros and takes about 16 minutes.

Arrival by Car

Travelling on the Berliner Ring (A 100), follow the signs in the direction Berlin-Zentrum and then Berlin-Wilmersdorf, continuing to the first Kurfürstendamm exit. Now follow Halenseestraße and turn right at the first traffic light, then right again at the next traffic light onto Koenigsallee. Approximately 400 meters later comes Wallotstraße, where you turn right once more.
