Working Futures

Launched in 2018 by the Wissenschaftskolleg and the International Research Center Work and Human Life Cycle in Global History (re:work), the transnational network Working Futures brings together sociologists, historians, philosophers, economists, law experts and anthropologists to discuss current transformations in the world of work and the epistemological challenges they raise for the historical and social sciences.

Recht im Kontext

From 2011 to 2018, Recht im Kontext aimed at an enhanced re-contextualization of the law among its neighboring disciplines. From a genuinely legal perspective, the research network sought to initiate new forms of dialogue and to create discursive structures between the law, the humanities and social sciences.

The Blankensee-Colloquia are international seminars on an inovative topic from the humanities and social sciences, organised by young scholars from the Berlin Brandenburg region. Under the key word "Cultural and social change" they foster research on processes of contemporary social and cultural change.
